The Etna Wine Train is a unique way to experience a unique place in the world. Stroll the slopes of Etna, the largest volcano in Europe, on board the narrow-gauge railroad of the Circumetnea Railway, to then advance, with the Wine Bus, to the Wine Roads and discover the most beautiful wineries in complete freedom.

On board the train that has been traveling for a hundred and twenty years these places travel at the pace of the “muntagna”, to enjoy, to understand the ingredients that give life to the wine vocation of this land: light, lava, sun, sea, passion and contradictions of the people who live there.

While the companions of the Etna Wine Train will tell you (the accompaniment is available in Italian and English, all this, from sea level you go higher and higher, into the territories of the Etna Park and the Parco Fluviale dell ‘Alcantara: on the right the Nebrodi, on the left the panorama of the majestic north side of Etna, the railway line enters a true paradise of smells and changing colors in every season.

Get off the train at Randazzo, climb aboard the “Hop-on hop-off” Wine Bus, which completes its itinerary, reaching some of the most beautiful wineries, immersed in these wonderful places. In complete freedom to get on and off at each stop – the Wine Bus runs every two hours from all the stops – visit the cellars and enjoy the tasting. Between one glass and the other you can choose where to stop for lunch, if in one of the cellars that also offer catering, or at one of the numerous and typical restaurants in the villages traveled by the Wine Bus.

Attention: your escorts on the Wine Bus are also able to show you the typical local products tickling your appetite even more! On the way back, the slow descent, with the sea that awaits you on the horizon, will surely find you in love with the roads, the wine, the Etna.
